Mushroom Marketing
In 2009/2010, Mushroom Marketing developed the Championship Moves Summer Music Festival project. This broadened our campaign’s to live music fans and giving them the chance to demonstrate a championship move.
In 2011 the Championship Moves Concert Series took the campaign into the Victorian pub rock community.
Participating bands featured in promotional videos endorsing Championship Moves, whilst also plugging their upcoming gigs at the venues. Licensees supported the gigs by displaying campaign posters and coasters, and allowing a film crew to interviews patrons on the night. The Lowrider concert at the Corner Hotel attracted over 650 people and patrons were happy to display their own championship moves on camera. Check it out on YouTube here.
Across the summer festival period, Mushroom sent their film crew to 15 different live music events, interviewed hundreds of patrons and filmed many of them demonstrating a move that could be used to look out for a mate.
The best championship moves were featured on the our website and we held a public vote to find the winning move. Mushroom Marketing created a 60-second cinema spot featuring a number of the best moves captured at the festivals.
