Collecting personal information
You can access this website homepage and browse our site without disclosing personal information. The Department will only record your email address and/or contact details if you send our site a message or if you are otherwise informed of this collection before providing your details, including sending E-Cards from this site, or participating in surveys.

Disclosure of Information
We will not use your personal information for any other purpose which is not related to the service we provide to you or for any other purpose for which you would not reasonably expect us to use the information. Information we collect is kept securely.
We may release information about you where:

  • there is a duty to the public to disclose that information,
  • we are required to by state or federal law, or
  • you authorise us to do so (eg: when you send an E-Card to a recipient nominated by you)

Statistical collection methods
The ‘Safer Streets’ campaign, through our web monitoring service provider, collects visitor data which relates to:

  • Times and dates of site visits
  • A visitor’s computer address (i.e. Internet Protocol (IP) address) and relevant domains
  • Browsers and operating systems used by visitors

This information is collected without identifying individual users.

SMS text promotion
The Victorian Government's Championship Moves campaign is sponsoring SMS Ladder texts, which are transmitted on a weekly basis to amateur football players across the State. If you are receiving the SMS texts in error, or should you wish to removed from the SMS database, please telephone 03 9018 1509 or email your mobile phone number to remove@redtxt.com.au
